Caros amigos peço que verifiquem o ocorrido quando tentei installar o ntfs-3g e localizar o HD com o comando fdisk -L

Desculpe meu caro , o comando correto seria
# fdisk -l ( com o l minúsculo )
Eu havia postado como L maiúsculo, depois vi que havia me enganado e consertei, mas nesse meio tempo voce já havia lido o post.
Faça o que o nosso amigo potaqpareo te indicou, instalando o repositório do LIVNA para poder instalar o ntfs-3g, e depois faça conforme te indiquei no meu post. _________________

Já tentei de tudo, nada deu certo, já instalei o fuso o ntfs-3g e nada reconhece (monta), nem hd externo serial ata, nem pen driver, por favor vou postar os dados dos comandos abaixo, não consigo identificar se o HD é sdax ou sudx ou shdx, peço que verifiquem abaixo. MUITO OBRIGADO.

Seu HD externo é USB, correto? Desconecte o HD e o pendrive.
Abra uma estância do console e conecte apenas o pendrive. Qual mensagem apareceu na tela? _________________ Linux user #424205

Acho que me expressei mau, quando falei em nova instância do console, é apenas abrir um nova janela do console.
Com o console aberto, insira o pen drive. Apareceu alguma mensagem? Se não, execute o comando dmesg e coloque a saída do comando aqui no post.

fatreis, pelo log do dmesg, o sistema está montando o disco externo na unidade sda, por isso vc não estava conseguindo montar o pen e por isso o aviso de que o dispositivo já estava montado;

Vc executou o dmesg com o pen espetado? Tente montar usando o dispositivo sdb. O estranho é que se o pen estiver espetado ele tem que reconhecer e informar o dispositivo...
